Hello,

I’m Kate. I’m a mixed media artist, poet, a Progressive, photographer, visionary, life-long cowgirl and fish-catcher, wall flower listener, a Bob Dylan aficionado, animal lover and tree hugger. For Stella (my giant golden retriever) and me, it’s a table for two life. We have come far and wide to finally land in the beautiful and eclectic city of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The phrase “you have something to say” has been an exhortation used by teachers, professors and friends for all of my life. It’s meaning has eluded me until now. As I have gotten older, and times in the world seem to be getting darker, I have discovered a firm belief in feeding the collective hope. Every piece of art that has ever been in existence is a light. And every light has a language. For me as an artist, I am merely adding to the conversation.
